Personal reputation

Personal & Executive Reputation

When someone searches your name, the first page should show who you are now. We clean up what we can, build what's missing, and lock down the personal details that shouldn't be public.

Before a board vote, a funding round or a job offer, someone types your name into Google. For many people the first page is a mix of things they never chose: an old local news story, a people-search listing with their home address, a namesake’s bad press, or a social post from a decade ago.

Personal reputation management makes that page accurate. We remove what can legitimately be removed, reduce what can’t, and build results you control. Everything is handled privately, and nothing is published in your name without your approval.

What’s included

  • A private name audit. We search your name the way others do, across variations, locations and image results, and note whether each result can be removed, updated, outranked or left alone.
  • Removals where a route exists. Platform policy requests, Google removal tools and publisher outreach. Our content removal service explains each route.
  • People-search opt-outs. We submit opt-outs to the data broker sites that list you, then recheck them, because listings often reappear.
  • Owned assets. A personal website, a complete LinkedIn profile and professional bios, written with you and built to rank for your name.
  • Privacy hardening and monitoring. A review of your social accounts and public exposure, plus alerts when new results about you appear.

How it works

1. Audit

After a confidential conversation about what worries you, we map what a stranger sees, including autocomplete, images and page two. Each result gets a verdict and a recommended route.

2. Repair

We file the removal requests and opt-outs that apply while building assets to fill the first page. For results that can’t be removed, the realistic goal is to push them further down with stronger, accurate pages about you.

3. Protect

Opt-outs are rechecked on a schedule, new mentions are flagged, and your profiles are kept current with real material: a new role, a talk, an article.

Executives and founders vs private individuals

Executives and founders Private individuals
Main goal A strong professional presence that ranks above anything negative. A quieter footprint with less personal data exposed.
Typical assets Personal site, LinkedIn, leadership page, bylines, speaking pages. A simple personal page or LinkedIn profile.
Main risks Press coverage, employee reviews that mention you, impersonation. Data broker listings, old court records, social posts, a namesake’s bad press.

What we can and can’t do

We can remove results that break a platform’s rules or qualify for a removal route, clear many people-search listings, and build enough strong content that most people searching your name see an accurate picture. We can’t force a news outlet to delete a truthful story, and we can’t make a court record disappear from public databases.

How long it takes

People-search opt-outs and Google personal information requests are usually processed within days to a few weeks, though some listings need resubmitting. Publisher requests may take days or never succeed, depending on the outlet.

New profiles often start appearing for your name within weeks, but outranking an established news article typically takes several months. It depends on how common your name is, how strong the negative result is, and how much genuine material we have.

Who it’s for

Founders and executives preparing for a raise, a sale or a new role, professionals whose clients choose them by name, and private individuals moving on from an old mistake or wanting their home address off the first page. If your company’s name is the issue, start with brand monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

Can you clean up my name on Google?

In most cases we can improve it substantially. Some results can be removed through Google’s tools or site policies, people-search listings can usually be opted out of, and the rest can often be pushed down. We can’t delete accurate news coverage or public records on demand.

How do I remove my address and phone number from Google?

Google’s “Results about you” tool lets you request removal of results showing your contact details. That removes the result from Google Search, but the listing stays on the source site, so we also submit opt-outs to those sites and recheck them.

What is executive reputation management?

It is personal reputation management for business leaders. The focus is a credible professional presence, such as a personal site, bylines and a strong LinkedIn profile, plus monitoring for press, employee reviews and impersonation.

Someone with my name has bad press. Can you help?

Yes, though we can’t remove accurate content about another person. We build clearly identified profiles about you, with your photo, title and location, so searchers can tell you apart and see your results first.
