LifeLock pricing starts at $124.99 a year, or $12.49 a month, for the Core plan covering one adult, as of September 2026. Advanced costs $199.99 a year or $19.99 a month, and Total costs $349.99 a year or $34.99 a month. Two-adult and family versions cost more, and annual billing works out about 16% cheaper than paying monthly, by LifeLock’s own figure.

Every price below comes from LifeLock’s plan pages and Norton’s published renewal price list, checked in September 2026. We haven’t bought a plan. Prices change and LifeLock runs offers, so check LifeLock’s pricing page for current prices before you buy.

LifeLock plans and prices as of September 2026

LifeLock sells three standalone plans. Each comes in three sizes: one adult, two adults, or two adults plus up to 10 kids.

Plan 1 adult 2 adults 2 adults + up to 10 kids
Core, annual $124.99/yr $224.99/yr $344.99/yr
Core, monthly $12.49/mo $22.49/mo $34.49/mo
Advanced, annual $199.99/yr $359.99/yr $479.99/yr
Advanced, monthly $19.99/mo $35.99/mo $47.99/mo
Total, annual $349.99/yr $629.99/yr $749.99/yr
Total, monthly $34.99/mo $62.99/mo $74.99/mo

LifeLock shows the annual prices as a monthly equivalent too: $10.42 a month for Core, $16.67 for Advanced and $29.17 for Total, for one adult. That’s the annual price divided by twelve, paid up front.

What’s included at each price

Core

LifeLock pitches Core at people with checking and credit accounts. It includes two-bureau credit monitoring, activity alerts on up to 2 bank or card accounts, a credit and payday loan lock, dark web monitoring, breach alerts, automatic data broker removal and 24/7 phone support. Reimbursement goes up to $1.05 million in total, including up to $25,000 for stolen funds and up to $1 million for lawyers and experts. The Core page says its data broker removal scans 60 sites, every 90 days.

Advanced

Advanced moves to three-bureau credit monitoring and alerts on up to 5 accounts, and adds $5,000 of scam reimbursement and scam support. Total reimbursement rises to $1.2 million, with up to $100,000 for stolen funds. Phone support is priority 24/7.

Total

Total covers unlimited accounts and is aimed at people with a 401(k), property or investments, with investment account alerts and home title monitoring. It includes $10,000 of scam reimbursement and up to $3 million in total reimbursement, with up to $1 million for stolen funds.

On every plan, LifeLock says insurance benefits are issued by third parties. Scam coverage is issued by HSB Specialty Insurance Company and isn’t available to New York residents. On two-adult and family plans, the scam limit is shown per family. Our LifeLock review covers the features in more depth, and our guide to identity theft insurance explains what “up to” limits usually cover.

Annual vs monthly billing

LifeLock labels its annual plans “16% off” compared with monthly billing. For one adult, twelve months on the monthly plan cost:

  • Core: $149.88, against $124.99 paid annually.
  • Advanced: $239.88, against $199.99.
  • Total: $419.88, against $349.99.

The trade-off is the refund window. Annual plans get a 60-day money-back guarantee; monthly plans get 14 days. If you’re unsure, the annual plan gives you longer to change your mind, and it’s cheaper if you keep it.

Free trial

LifeLock offers a 30-day free trial. You pay $0 on the day, but a payment method is required, and you’re charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. On an annual plan, that means the full year’s price, such as $124.99 for Core, is charged on day 30. Put a reminder in your calendar a few days before.

Renewals and hidden costs

LifeLock’s terms say what happens after the first term, and they’re worth reading closely.

  • Auto-renewal is on. Plans renew automatically unless you cancel. LifeLock’s Restoration Guarantee, which refunds up to 12 months of payments if you’re not satisfied with its resolution of an identity theft case, requires an auto-renewing subscription and excludes plans paid for by a third party.
  • Renewal price. LifeLock’s pages say the price is valid for the introductory term and then renews at the standard price. In September 2026, each standalone plan page showed “Renews at” the same figure as the first year, and Norton’s renewal price list (effective March 2026) matched: $124.99, $199.99 and $349.99 for one adult.
  • Early billing. Annual plans may be billed up to 35 days before the current term ends.
  • Prices can change. The terms say prices are subject to change.
  • Tax. The refund policy says shipping, handling and applicable tax aren’t refundable, except in certain states and countries.

Refunds and cancellation

  • Annual plans: refundable within 60 days of purchase. Each annual renewal is also refundable within 60 days of being charged, limited to the fees for that term.
  • Monthly plans: refundable within 14 days of purchase.
  • Third-party purchases: refund eligibility may differ if you bought through an app store, reseller or retailer, and some bundles with third-party offerings may not qualify.
  • Breach offers: if a breached company later offers you free identity protection, you can cancel and request a pro-rated refund for the rest of your term, even if no other refund right applies.
  • How to cancel: LifeLock’s Cancellation and Refund Policy says to submit its online request form or contact Member Services and Support; Norton’s support site lists Member Services at 1-800-416-0599. Your protection continues to the end of the paid term.

Norton 360 with LifeLock bundles

If you want antivirus, a VPN and a password manager as well, LifeLock’s site sells Norton 360 with LifeLock bundles. As of September 2026 it listed two for one adult:

Bundle First year (annual) Annual renewal Monthly
Norton 360 with LifeLock Select $99.99 $159.99 $14.99
Norton 360 with LifeLock Ultimate Plus $299.99 $364.99 $34.99

Unlike the standalone plans, these bundles have a lower first-year price that renews higher. Norton’s renewal price list also includes family versions and other bundles. We haven’t listed each bundle’s features here; check Norton’s current prices and plan details before buying.

What happened to LifeLock Ultimate Plus pricing?

The standalone LifeLock Ultimate Plus plan is no longer sold. Its page says it’s “no longer available to purchase” and points to LifeLock Total instead. Existing members keep their plan; Norton’s renewal price list (effective March 2026) lists LifeLock Ultimate Plus at $339.99 a year for renewals. If you’re on it, compare that with Total at $349.99 before your next renewal.

Is LifeLock worth the price?

Much of LifeLock’s core value can be matched for free: a credit freeze stops most new-account fraud, annualcreditreport.com gives you free reports, and your bank can alert you to transactions. What you pay for is the monitoring across many sources in one app, reimbursement if something goes wrong, and a restoration specialist to do the legwork.

Core at $124.99 a year is mostly worth it if you want data broker removal and a restoration specialist without much else. Advanced adds three-bureau monitoring and scam reimbursement, which is where LifeLock starts to cover things free tools can’t. Total at $349.99 is aimed at people with investments and property to watch.

A worked example

This is an illustrative scenario, not a real client.

Lena wants LifeLock Advanced for herself. Paying monthly would cost $239.88 over a year; annual costs $199.99. She plans to keep it, so she chooses annual and starts the 30-day trial. Her card is charged $199.99 on day 30. She notes two dates: day 90, when the 60-day refund window on her purchase closes, and eleven months later, because the renewal may be billed up to 35 days early.
