As of September 2026, Awario pricing has three published plans. Starter is $29 a month billed yearly or $49 billed monthly, Pro is $89 yearly or $149 monthly, and Enterprise is $249 yearly or $399 monthly, with custom plans on request. The plans differ mainly in how many topics you can monitor (3, 15 or 100) and how many new mentions Awario finds each month (30,000, 300,000 or 1,000,000). There’s a free trial with no credit card, but Awario’s terms say paid plans renew automatically and it doesn’t refund unused time.

This guide explains what each Awario plan includes, what the limits mean in practice, what pushes the cost up, the renewal and refund terms, and the cheaper and free options. Everything about Awario here comes from its own pricing page, feature pages and terms of use, checked in September 2026. We haven’t used Awario hands-on. Check Awario’s pricing page for current prices before you buy.

Custom plans are available if you contact Awario. Its pricing page says yearly billing saves “up to 40%.” On Starter, the yearly rate works out at $348 a year against $588 if you pay monthly for twelve months.

What changes between Awario plans

Every plan includes unlimited keywords per topic and Boolean search. The feature differences sit in reporting, export and support:

Feature Starter Pro Enterprise
Boolean search Yes Yes Yes
Data export (CSV) No Yes Yes
PDF reports No Yes Yes
White-label reports No No Yes
API access No No Yes
Dedicated account manager No No Yes

What the limits mean

  • Topics. Awario defines a topic as “a keyword or group of keywords you are monitoring, such as your brand, a competitor, or a set of industry keywords.” Each topic can hold unlimited keywords, including social handles, hashtags and URLs, in any language. One brand plus two competitors fills Starter.
  • New mentions a month. The maximum number of results Awario will find for you across all your topics each month.
  • Stored mentions per topic. How much history each topic keeps. Awario’s FAQ says that once the limit is reached, the oldest mentions are replaced by new ones. The FAQ gives a range of “3,000 to 50,000” while the Starter card says 5,000, so confirm the Starter figure if history matters to you.
  • Team members. Starter is a single login. Pro allows 10, with different permission levels.

Features across the product

Awario’s feature pages describe monitoring across social media, news, blogs, videos, forums and the wider web, with sentiment sorting (positive, negative and neutral), a Reach metric to sort conversations by audience size, negative keywords to filter noise, location-based monitoring, email alert summaries delivered daily or weekly, a Slack integration, and Awario Leads, which finds posts asking for recommendations or complaining about competitors. Its reports cover mentions, share of voice and influencers. Some of these may depend on your plan, so check the plan card for anything you rely on.

What drives the cost of Awario

  • How many things you track. Topics are the main limit. Tracking several brands, clients or competitors pushes you from Starter (3) to Pro (15).
  • Mention volume. A well-known brand or a common-word brand name can burn through 30,000 mentions a month quickly. Boolean search and negative keywords help keep the count down.
  • Exports and reports. If you need CSV exports or PDF reports, Starter won’t do. Both start on Pro.
  • Client-facing work. White-label reports and API access are Enterprise only, which is the plan agencies reselling reports usually need.
  • Billing period. Paying yearly costs noticeably less per month, but it commits you to a year with no refunds for unused time.

Awario’s free trial

Awario offers a free trial, and its sign-up page says no credit card is required. We couldn’t confirm the trial’s length on its pricing page, so check it when you sign up. Its pricing FAQ says the trial gives you the Starter plan, meaning up to 3 alerts and up to 30,000 mentions. If you don’t subscribe, the trial account expires automatically and you aren’t charged. Awario says it keeps trial data for 14 days after that, then deletes the account.

Use the trial to test your real brand name. The number of mentions you collect in the first week, multiplied out, is a rough guide to whether Starter’s monthly limit is enough.

Renewal, cancellation and refund terms

These points come from Awario’s pricing FAQ and its terms of use, which name the contracting company as Techfusion LTD, Republic of Cyprus.

Item What Awario says

Auto-renewal Placing an order means agreeing to automatic renewal. You can withdraw that consent by emailing support@awario.com.

Payment methods Cards, PayPal, bank transfer and several other methods, per its FAQ.

A worked example: choosing a plan

This is an illustrative example, not a real client. Prices are Awario’s published figures as of September 2026.

A two-person marketing consultancy wants to watch its own brand plus mentions for six small clients, and send each client a monthly report.

  1. Seven brands need seven topics, so Starter’s three isn’t enough. Pro’s 15 topics fit, with room for a competitor or two.
  2. Monthly reports need PDF reports, which start on Pro. Two people need two logins, also fine on Pro.
  3. The consultancy wants its own logo on reports. White-label reports are Enterprise only, so it decides to send Awario’s standard PDF with its own cover note instead.
  4. It runs the free trial on its busiest client first. After a week, it chooses Pro at $89 a month billed yearly ($1,068 a year), rather than $149 month to month.

A single small business watching only its own name might never outgrow Starter, or might get what it needs from free tools.

Brand24 Individual $199 a month billed annually ($249 monthly), up to Business at $599 ($699); Enterprise from $1,499; 14-day free trial Teams wanting social, news, podcast and review source coverage

Our free platform is ours, so weigh that. It tags every page-one result for your name as positive, neutral or negative, watches for new reviews and mentions and alerts you when one needs a reply, tracks results as owned pages climb, and reports back every month in plain English. It doesn’t offer Boolean search, social listening across millions of posts, influencer reports, data export, white-label reports or an API, so it doesn’t replace Awario for social listening work. It suits owners and professionals who mainly want to know what people see when they search. Start with a free reputation audit.

Awario is priced well below Brand24 at every level, but Brand24 lists sources such as podcasts, newsletters and reviews that Awario’s pages don’t mention, so compare coverage as well as price. Our Brand24 pricing guide and Mention pricing guide cover those tools, and our list of the best social listening tools compares more. If you’d rather have monitoring done for you, see our reputation monitoring service.

Common mistakes when buying Awario

  • Counting keywords instead of topics. Keywords are unlimited. Topics are the limit that decides your plan.
  • Assuming Starter can export. CSV export and PDF reports start on Pro.
  • Paying yearly before testing volume. Yearly billing is cheaper per month, but there are no refunds for unused time. Run the trial first.
  • Letting a trial lapse with data you need. Awario deletes trial accounts 14 days after expiry.
  • Expecting social listening to show your search results. Mention tracking tells you what people post. It doesn’t show what ranks on page one for your name, which is often what a customer or employer sees first. Our guide to tracking brand mentions covers both.

Does Awario have a free plan?

Can I get a refund from Awario?

Awario’s FAQ says it can’t refund partial use or the time left in a subscription, and its terms have a “no refunds” section. You can cancel any time by contacting support, which stops the next renewal.

Is Awario cheaper than Brand24?

On published prices, yes. As of September 2026, Awario starts at $29 a month billed yearly, while Brand24’s Individual plan is $199 a month billed annually. The plans measure limits differently (topics versus keywords) and cover different sources, so compare what you’d actually track.
