As of September 2026, Semrush Local pricing is per location. Base costs $30 a month per location and Pro costs $60 a month per location, both shown billed annually, and Business is custom through sales. Base automates your Google Business Profile with an AI agent and auto-replies to reviews. Pro adds listing management, review management and review generation. Semrush’s refund policy offers a one-time 7-day money-back window on new annual subscriptions only, so check the terms before you pay for a year.

This guide covers what each Semrush Local plan includes, what pushes the cost up, the renewal and refund terms, what to ask sales, and the cheaper options. Everything about Semrush here comes from its Local pricing page, its local SEO features page, its terms of service and its cancellation and refund policy, checked in September 2026. Semrush changes its packaging often, so check the live pricing page before you buy.

Semrush Local plans and prices (as of September 2026)

Semrush sells Local as its own toolkit, separate from its SEO plans. The Local pricing page has a monthly and annual switch. The prices it shows are the annual-billing rates below; it didn’t show a monthly-billing price to our request, so ask Semrush for that figure if you want to pay month to month.

Plan Published price Who Semrush says it’s for
Base $30 a month per location, billed annually Small local businesses
Pro $60 a month per location, billed annually Growing businesses
Business Custom pricing and billing cycle (“Contact sales”) Large businesses

Semrush’s local SEO features page confirms that “Local Toolkit pricing works per location,” and says agencies can manage multiple client locations from one account. All prices are in US dollars, according to the pricing page’s data.

What each Semrush Local plan includes

Base

  • Automated Google Business Profile management with an AI agent. Semrush says the agent “creates posts, uploads photos, and replies to reviews on your behalf.”
  • AI-powered post generation and publishing
  • Review auto-replies
  • Automated photo posting
  • A Google Business Profile audit and optimization plan, and a GBP integration
  • Map Rank Tracker with 375 credits. Semrush defines one credit as a scan of one pin on the map.

Pro adds

  • Listing Management. Semrush’s features page says this covers 70+ US directories, 40+ international directories, and voice platforms including Amazon Alexa, Apple Maps, Bing and Google.
  • Review management and generation. The features page describes automated post-service SMS and email review requests, plus responses, alerts and competitor review monitoring.
  • Advanced Google Business Profile management
  • Map Rank Tracker with 1,225 credits

Business adds

  • Custom pricing and billing cycle
  • Customizable limits
  • Priority customer support

The practical split: if you only want your Google profile kept active and your reviews answered, Base may do. If you want your business details pushed to other directories, or you want to send review requests, you need Pro.

What drives the cost of Semrush Local

  • Number of locations. Every plan price is per location, so the bill grows in a straight line. Ten locations on Pro cost ten times one location.
  • Base or Pro. Listing management and review requests are on Pro, which doubles the per-location price.
  • Billing period. The published figures are annual-billing rates. Ask what month-to-month billing costs before you compare.
  • Add-ons. The Local pricing page lists add-ons for extra users ($20 a month), Lead Generation, a branded profile on Semrush’s agency partner platform ($90 a month), and reporting add-ons (Base Report $10 a month, Pro Report $20 a month, with white-labeling on Pro Report).
  • Other Semrush toolkits. Local is priced separately from Semrush’s SEO, content and social toolkits. If you also want keyword research or site audits, that’s another subscription.
  • Rank tracking volume. Map Rank Tracker credits are fixed per plan, and each pin scanned uses one. Heavy grid tracking across many keywords can push you toward Business and its customizable limits.

Renewal, cancellation and refund terms

These points come from Semrush’s terms of service (last updated August 25, 2026) and its cancellation and refund policy for online subscriptions. A signed Order Form or enterprise agreement can override them.

Item What Semrush’s terms say
Renewal Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period on the then-current terms unless you send notice of non-renewal before the term ends.
How to cancel Log in and submit the cancellation request form, answering all its questions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your committed subscription term.
Refunds Fees are generally non-refundable. There’s a one-time 7-day money-back guarantee for initial subscriptions of twelve months or longer, and for initial add-on purchases, bought by credit card on semrush.com. Refunds aren’t available for month-to-month subscriptions.
Trials If you start with a free trial, the first payment is charged automatically when it ends unless you cancel first.
Price changes New fees take effect from the first day of your next renewal, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Your data After the agreement ends, Semrush may erase customer data within a reasonable period of not less than 30 days.

The pricing page’s FAQ adds that you can cancel, downgrade or upgrade at any time “unless you have custom terms and a signed agreement with us.” It also says Semrush places a small charge on your card to check it, then refunds it immediately.

Is there a Semrush Local free trial?

Semrush advertises “Try Semrush free for seven days” across its site, and its local SEO features page has a “Try free for 7 days” button. The Local pricing page itself doesn’t say whether the trial covers Local plans, so we can’t confirm that. Ask before you sign up, and remember the terms: a trial converts to a paid plan automatically unless you cancel first.

A worked example: pricing five locations

This is an illustrative example, not a real client. Prices are the published annual-billing figures as of September 2026.

A family-owned pizza chain has five locations. It wants its Google profiles kept active, its details pushed to other directories, and review requests sent after orders.

  1. Directory listings and review requests are on Pro, so Base won’t cover it.
  2. Pro at $60 per location a month for five locations is $300 a month, or $3,600 a year on annual billing.
  3. If two managers need their own logins, the extra-user add-on is listed at $20 a month each.
  4. Before paying, the owner asks sales for the month-to-month price and whether the 7-day trial covers Local, then compares with a listings-only tool plus a separate review request tool.

If the chain only wanted its Google profiles kept active, with no directory listings or review requests, Base would cost $150 a month for five locations. The choice turns on whether the AI agent and review automation are worth it compared with doing those tasks by hand.

How to get a quote, and what to ask

Base and Pro can be bought online. Business goes through “Contact sales.” Either way, get answers to these in writing:

  1. What does Local cost billed monthly, per location, compared with the annual rate?
  2. Does the 7-day free trial include Local, and on which plan?
  3. Which directories does Listing Management cover in the countries where we operate?
  4. How many review requests can we send per location, and by which channels?
  5. Can we review AI-written posts and review replies before they’re published?
  6. What happens to our listings and data if we cancel?
  7. For Business: what limits are customized, and what billing cycle and renewal terms apply?

On AI replies, keep a person in the loop. Automatic replies are fast, but a reply that confirms a patient relationship or argues with a customer is public and hard to undo. Our guide to responding to Google reviews covers what a good reply looks like.

Moz Local $20, $30 or $40 a month per location, or $199, $299 or $399 a year Low-cost directory listings per location
Whitespark Local Platform $1 a month per location Google Business Profile management at very low cost
BrightLocal Track $41, Manage $54 or Grow $65 a month billed monthly for one location, or $369, $485 or $584 a year (from our BrightLocal pricing guide) Local SEO audits, rank tracking, listings and reviews in one tool, with a 14-day trial and no card needed

Our free platform is ours, so weigh that. It tags every page-one result for your name as positive, neutral or negative, watches for new reviews and mentions and alerts you when one needs a reply, tracks results as owned pages climb, and reports back every month in plain English. It doesn’t manage your Google profile, sync listings, send review requests, write AI replies or track map rankings, so it isn’t a replacement for Semrush Local. It’s a free way to see what customers find when they search you. Start with a free reputation audit.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Semrush Local cost?

As of September 2026, Semrush Local Base is $30 a month per location and Pro is $60 a month per location, both shown billed annually. Business is custom pricing through sales. Add-ons such as extra users ($20 a month) and reporting cost extra.

Is Semrush Local priced per location?

Yes. Semrush’s own features page says Local Toolkit pricing works per location, so five locations on Pro cost five times the single-location price.

Is Semrush Local included in a Semrush SEO subscription?

Semrush prices Local as a separate toolkit with its own pricing page, separate from its SEO plans. Ask Semrush sales if you want to bundle toolkits.

Can I get a refund on Semrush Local?

Semrush’s refund policy offers a one-time 7-day money-back guarantee on an initial subscription of twelve months or longer bought by credit card on semrush.com. Month-to-month subscriptions aren’t refundable. Otherwise, cancelling stops the next renewal but doesn’t refund the current term.

Does Semrush Local send review requests?

On Pro, yes. Semrush lists review management and generation on Pro, and its features page describes automated SMS and email requests after a service or purchase. Base includes review auto-replies but not review generation.
