The best Birdeye alternatives depend on what you’re replacing. If you want published, lower prices for review requests, GatherUp and NiceJob list theirs. If you want lead conversion with texting, phones and payments, Podium is the closest match. If you’re a multi-location brand, Reputation publishes per-location plans. And if you mainly want to see what people find when they search you, our free platform does that at no cost.

This guide is research-based. Every competitor detail comes from that company’s own website, checked as of September 2026, and we haven’t run accounts on these tools. Prices and plans change, so check each company’s pricing page before you buy. Our own platform is listed first and labeled as ours.

Why people look for Birdeye alternatives

Birdeye is a broad platform. As of September 2026, it describes itself as AI coworkers for multi-location brands, covering reviews, listings, social, AI search visibility, chat, appointments, surveys, ticketing and reporting. People still look elsewhere for a few common reasons:

  • No published price. Birdeye’s pricing page asks for your number of locations and a mobile number before it shows pricing. Some buyers want to compare prices without a sales call. Our Birdeye pricing guide explains how its quotes work.
  • More than they need. A single-location business that only wants more Google reviews may not use listings, social, surveys and AI agents.
  • Contract structure. Birdeye’s pricing page describes “one platform, one contract”, and its terms auto-renew unless you give written notice at least 90 days before renewal, with an 8% “Innovation Fee” added at each auto-renewal. Some businesses prefer month-to-month tools they can cancel easily.
  • A different core need. Some teams care more about converting leads by text and phone than about reputation across locations.

If you’re still weighing Birdeye itself, our Birdeye review covers what it does well and where it may not fit.

1. Our free platform (123 Reputation Management)

This one is ours, so read it with that in mind. It’s free, and it does four things:

  • It tags every page-one result for your name as positive, neutral or negative.
  • It watches for new reviews and mentions, and alerts you when one needs a reply.
  • It tracks every result as owned pages climb and old ones slip.
  • It reports back every month in plain English.

Where Birdeye does more: a lot. Our platform doesn’t send review requests by text or email, and it has no listings sync, social publishing, webchat, AI review replies, surveys, integrations or multi-location dashboards. If you rely on those, a paid tool below is the better replacement. Our platform suits business owners who want to know what customers see when they search, and to hear about a new review or mention before it festers.

2. Podium

Podium is a common point of comparison for Birdeye. As of September 2026, its pricing page lists three plans, Core, Pro and Signature, all at “Custom pricing”. It describes itself as a platform to attract and convert more leads, with reviews, phones, webchat, a shared inbox, payments, text marketing and 200+ integrations.

Strengths: strong on conversations and sales, with its own payments and phone system, and it publishes some fees, such as phone seats at $25 to $30 per user per month and a $5 per month per location texting fee. Trade-offs: plan prices still need a quote, its standard terms set a 12-month initial term that auto-renews, and we couldn’t confirm listings management on its site. See our Birdeye vs Podium comparison and Podium review.

3. Reputation

Reputation (reputation.com) publishes per-location pricing. As of September 2026, Rep Core is $80 per location per month and covers reviews management (collection, requesting and AI responding) plus business listings and SEO. Rep Core + Pulse, at $115 per location per month, adds reputation insights, an AI reputation manager, analytics and basic surveys. Rep Core + Surveys, at $150, adds advanced surveys and email survey requests. Enterprise plans for 125+ locations are custom priced.

Strengths: a published starting price for a multi-location reputation platform, with add-ons for competitive insights, ticketing, a social suite and managed services. Trade-offs: each plan still routes you to sales, and it doesn’t state contract terms or a trial on its pricing page.

4. GatherUp

GatherUp focuses on review requests, monitoring and feedback. As of September 2026, its Small Business plan for one location is $99 a month billed annually or $124 billed monthly. Multi-location pricing starts at $60 per location per month billed annually ($75 monthly) for 2 to 10 locations and drops as you add more. It offers a 14-day trial.

GatherUp says all plans include up to 300 SMS and 3,000 email credits per location per month, review monitoring on 100+ sites, NPS and surveys, AI-crafted replies, review widgets, and API, Zapier and webhook access. A Listings Hub add-on, at $40 per location per month, syncs business information across 125 directories. Strengths: clear prices and a focused toolset. Trade-offs: no phones or payments, and listings cost extra.

5. NiceJob

NiceJob targets small service businesses. As of September 2026, its Starter plan is $75 a month and Pro is $125 a month, both with no contracts, and it offers a 14-day free trial. Starter covers review requests and follow-ups by SMS and email, website review widgets, social sharing, a team leaderboard and a reviews microsite. Pro adds AI review replies, rebooking reminders, referrals, email broadcasts, NPS surveys and competitor tracking.

Strengths: simple published pricing and no lock-in. Trade-offs: it isn’t built around large multi-location operations the way Birdeye is, though NiceJob offers custom pricing for enterprise, franchise and multi-location businesses through sales.

6. Yext

Yext is an alternative if your main use of Birdeye is listings and brand data across many locations. As of September 2026, its site describes listings and visibility, a knowledge graph for brand accuracy in AI, content tools, reviews and social, and local pages, aimed at enterprise brands. It doesn’t publish prices; you contact sales. Our Yext alternatives guide compares it with other listings tools.

7. Google Business Profile

Google says creating a Business Profile is free, and you can respond to customer reviews from it. For one location with modest review volume, replying there and asking every customer in person or by a simple link can replace much of what a paid tool does. It won’t monitor other sites or send automated campaigns. Our guide to getting more Google reviews covers the manual method.

How to choose a Birdeye alternative

  1. List the Birdeye features you’d actually use. If it’s only review requests and replies, GatherUp or NiceJob may be enough. If it’s listings too, look at Reputation, Yext or GatherUp’s add-on.
  2. Price your real location count. Per-location pricing adds up fast. Work out the monthly total for every site, billed the way you’d actually pay.
  3. Check contract and cancellation terms. NiceJob states no contracts. Podium’s standard terms set a 12-month term that auto-renews unless you give notice at least one month before it ends. For other quote-based tools, ask in writing.
  4. Test on a trial. GatherUp and NiceJob both offer 14 days.
  5. Keep review requests fair. Google’s policies prohibit review gating, and the FTC has warned that asking only happy customers can mislead consumers. Choose a tool that invites everyone the same way.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best free alternative to Birdeye?

For replying to Google reviews, Google Business Profile is free. For monitoring your search results, reviews and mentions with monthly reports, our free platform costs nothing. Neither sends review request campaigns, so they suit monitoring rather than full replacement.

Which Birdeye alternatives publish their prices?

As of September 2026, GatherUp, NiceJob and Reputation publish prices on their own sites. Podium and Yext don’t; both are quote-based, like Birdeye.

Is Podium a good alternative to Birdeye?

It can be, if your priority is converting leads through texting, phones, webchat and payments. If you rely on Birdeye for listings and multi-location reputation work, Podium may cover less of that. Our Birdeye vs Podium comparison goes into detail.

Are there Birdeye alternatives for agencies?

Yes. Grade.us describes itself as a review management platform for marketing agencies, with white labeling and a 14-day free trial as of September 2026, and GatherUp offers agency pricing on request.
