Yext Pricing: Why There’s No Price List, Contract Terms and Cheaper Options
Yext doesn't publish current prices. Here's how its quotes work as of September 2026, what its contract says about cancellation, what to ask sales, and cheaper listings tools.
Yext doesn’t publish current prices. As of September 2026, yext.com/pricing returns a “not found” page, and the site’s calls to action are “Contact sales” and “Get a demo,” so pricing is quote-based. The sales form asks how many locations you have, which suggests location count is a starting point. What you can read in advance is Yext’s contract, which says purchased subscriptions can’t be canceled and fees paid are non-refundable.
This guide covers what Yext publishes, what is likely to shape your quote, the contract terms to check, what to ask sales, and cheaper listings options. Everything about Yext here comes from its own website and published terms, checked in September 2026. We don’t repeat third-party price estimates, because they can’t be checked against Yext’s own pages. Pricing and terms change, so check Yext’s site and your written quote.
What Yext shows about pricing (as of September 2026)
Yext now calls itself an “Enterprise Agentic Marketing Platform,” and its site is built around demos rather than price lists:
- No pricing page. yext.com/pricing returned a 404 when we checked, and pricing isn’t in the main navigation.
- Contact sales. The “Talk to Sales” form asks for your name, email, business phone, company, how many locations you have, and whether you want help for yourself or for your clients.
- Demo. The demo page describes “a short call to align on your brand’s goals and pain points,” a personalized consultation, and a live demo. Its form asks the same location question plus job role and country.
What about the old Yext plans page?
If you type yext.com/plans, an old single-location “PowerListings” checkout page still loads. Its footer carries a 2018 copyright, and it isn’t linked from Yext’s current navigation. It describes a product Yext no longer leads with, so we don’t treat its figures as current prices, and you shouldn’t budget from them. If you want Yext, get a current written quote.
What shapes a Yext quote
Yext doesn’t publish a pricing formula. Its forms and product pages point to where the price is likely to move:
- Number of locations. Both the sales and demo forms ask it. Yext’s listings page talks about updating “10,000+ locations” at once, so it’s built with large multi-location brands in mind.
- Which products you buy. Yext’s platform menu lists Scout (AI search visibility and competitor tracking), Listings, Knowledge Graph, Reviews, Social, Pages, Search, and Hearsay Social and Hearsay Relate (compliant social and messaging tools for financial advisors). Each is likely a separate line on a quote.
- Whether you’re buying for clients. The forms ask if you’re buying for yourself or your clients.
- Your contract. Yext’s Master Subscription Agreement says fees and payment terms are set in your “Subscription Schedule,” the order document you sign.
What the main products include
| Product | What Yext says it does |

| Reviews | Monitors 80+ review platforms in one dashboard; review requests by email, text or QR code; AI-drafted replies you approve or send automatically; sentiment analysis and competitor comparison |
| Scout | Tracks visibility in AI and traditional search against competitors; includes a mobile app |

Contract terms to check before you sign
Yext publishes its Master Subscription Agreement on its terms page (the Yext Enterprise MSA, last updated May 12, 2026), alongside separate Product Terms (last updated April 8, 2026). The points that matter most for cost:
| Item | What Yext’s terms say | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Fees | Set in your Subscription Schedule | The schedule, not the website, is your price |
| Cancellation and refunds | “Purchased subscriptions may not be cancelled and all fees paid are non-refundable” | You’re committed for the full term you sign |
| Term | Runs for as long as each Subscription Schedule remains in effect | The schedule sets the length; the MSA doesn’t set a renewal rule, so check the schedule for one |
| Late payment | Interest of 1.5 percent a month on late amounts | Pay on time |
| At the end | Its Product Terms say you lose access to hosted content when the subscription expires | Plan how you’ll manage listings after you leave |
| Publisher display | Yext “does not guarantee that any Client Content will be displayed on any Publisher Site” | Publishers keep control of what they show |
How to get a Yext quote, and what to ask
- Count your locations and list the jobs. For example: “keep hours correct on Google, Apple and Bing for 30 locations,” “reply to every review within two days” or “see how AI assistants describe us.”
- Use the sales or demo form. Expect a call, since both forms ask for a business phone number.
- Ask for line items. Request a quote that separates each product, per-location fees, any onboarding and the term length.
- Ask these in writing:
- How long is the term, and does the Subscription Schedule auto-renew? What notice do I need to give?
- Can the price change at renewal, and is there a cap?
- What happens to my listings on Google, Apple, Bing and other publishers if I don’t renew?
- Can I export all my location data and review history?
- Do review requests go to every customer, with no filtering by sentiment?
- Get a second quote. Compare at least one tool that publishes prices. Our list of Yext alternatives is a good starting point.
That last compliance question matters. Google’s review policies prohibit review gating (selectively soliciting positive reviews), and the FTC has warned that asking only customers you expect to be happy can mislead consumers.
A worked example: do you need Yext at all?
This is an illustrative scenario, not a real client.
A family-owned bakery with two locations gets a Yext demo after its hours showed wrong on a map app. Before asking for a quote, the owner checks what’s free: she claims and updates both Google Business Profiles, then corrects the Apple and Bing listings directly. The errors are fixed within a few weeks. For two locations, a quote-based enterprise contract that can’t be canceled isn’t worth it. A 60-location franchise with daily menu and hours changes is a different case, and that’s where Yext’s direct publisher connections and approval workflows earn their keep.

Our free platform
This one is ours, so weigh that. Our free platform tags every page-one result for your name as positive, neutral or negative; watches for new reviews and mentions and alerts you when one needs a reply; tracks every result as owned pages climb and old ones slip; and reports back every month in plain English. It doesn’t sync listings to publishers or send review requests, and it has no webchat, payments, integrations, AI replies, or broadcast monitoring and press databases, so it isn’t a Yext replacement for managing location data. If you want to see what customers find about you and hear about new reviews, it may be enough. Start with a free reputation audit, or see our Google Business Profile management service if you’d like help keeping your listing right.
Free listings you can manage yourself
Google says creating a Business Profile is free, and you can manage reviews from it. For one or a few locations, you can also claim and update your Apple and Bing listings directly instead of paying a tool to do it. Our guides to Google Business Profile optimization and Apple Business Connect walk through it.
Paid tools with published prices
Moz Local lists 90+ listing directories and supports US, UK and Canadian listings; our Moz Local pricing breakdown covers its per-location plans, and our comparison of Moz Local alternatives lists similar tools. Synup says it’s “priced by location,” every plan includes every feature, there’s a 14-day free trial of its Solo plan, and monthly plans can be canceled before the next renewal; see our look at Synup’s plans and terms. BrightLocal also sells listings and review tools, with a 14-day free trial; its Grow plan is $584 a year (about $49 a month billed annually) or $65 billed monthly for one location. See our BrightLocal pricing guide. Uberall doesn’t publish prices; our guide to Uberall’s plans explains how its quotes work.
